Andrea Pinna

Andrea Pinna is Ph.D. Student in Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Cagliari.

He graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Cagliari. His thesis is titled “Marking Observer for Petri Nets with Labels and Uncertainty on Initial Marking”, with supervisor prof. Carla Seatzu.

His research activity focuses on the blockchain technology and its applications and his research interest include the engineering aspects of blockchain-based software development and the enhancement of the social, economic and environmental impact that use of this technology can bring, with the aim of Sustainable Software Engineering. He focused on the study of the Bitcoin networks of users and, in particular, he studied a model to determine the characteristics of users based on Petri’s networks.
